What Kinds of Services Do They Provide?
Martha's Hands assists with daily activities so you can remain independent in your home. These services range from providing companionship, to hands-on care to skilled nursing care. Each client is unique; so services will be provided based on an individual’s needs and requests. How Does The Company Select and Screen Caregivers?
Martha's Hands hires compassionate, professional and experienced caregivers. Martha’s Hands utilizes multiple screening tools for potential caregivers including; Family Care Safety Registry, On-line National Background Check, OIG Screening, SAM Screening, and E-Verify. Potential caregivers must pass a written skills test and four-hour caregiver competency class that evaluates their hands-on skills and knowledge of core care situations. Additionally, Martha’s Hands verifies two years of caregiving experience, licensure/certification attainment and two personal reference checks. Before a caregiver’s first assignment seven different Martha’s Hands team members have reviewed and approved the caregiver’s hiring as a member of the Martha’s Hands family.

Contact Martha’s Hands Care Consultant to discuss our services. They will answer your questions and provide you with additional resources. Review the Martha’s Hands information.Schedule an Initial Nursing Assessment where the Martha’s Hands Nurse Care Manager will make a personal visit with you and your family.
What Kind of Contract Do I Sign?
At the Assessment, the Nurse Care Manager will review the Martha’s Hands Service Agreement. Our Service Agreement describes the types of services we provide, how we operate, our billing rates and payment options. Our Service Agreement does NOT obligate you to use Martha's Hands and we only ask for 24-hour notice for cancellation of shifts. A signed Service Agreement is required in order for us to start services.
Who Do I Call If I Have A Problem?
Martha's Hands prides itself on being responsive to our clients and their families. When calling with a question or concern, you can discuss the matter directly with a member of the Staffing Team, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you have a clinical care concern, we will direct the call to our On-Call Nurse Care Manager.
